Kent, Prehistory to the Dark Ages
I am of South Asian heritage always wondered if there is an ancient connection with that of semitic and there is some percentage connected to the Semitic history - I will be planning to learn more about this over the time! Thank you - if there was more test like this it could help others narrow it down too especially of the subcontinent!

Ancient Semitic Ancestry
this was worth giving it a try, I got a 24% Levi results, and share genetic similarity with all 15 of the individuals, I wasn't expecting that. Just like I took the Judah test and also gave me results of 24% Judah, and matched with 16 individuals listed there. It looks like I'm genetically connected to these ancient peoples more than I thought.

The Tribes of Israel: Levi
I'm surprised at how much genetic similarity I have to ancient peoples that were discovered in this specific region. I matched with 16 individuals on this Tribe of Judah test, and I got 24% Judah, with a 50% genetic match with one of them! Thank you so much. this was worth it. I do have a question, how come there is individuals with different Y haplogroups but still be considered Israelites? any idea which would be the official line of the ancient israelites?
