This test combines three other tests available on our website for Judah, Levi, and Benjamin who ruled the Kingdom of Judah.
We reconstructed the DNA of 46 ancient people from Jerusalem, Jericho, Gibeon, Arad, Bethlehem, Hebron, and Lachish. Since the Levites did not have their own territory, this test compares your DNA to the original Levites who left Egypt after the invasion of the Hyksos and mixed with Midianite priests. Overall, this test includes 46 people who lived between 8,050 and 2,075 BC, ending in the times of Hanoch and Noah. The test provides a detailed history of the Judaeans, Levites, and Benjaminites from prehistoric times, their haplogroup breakdown, and their history of encounters with other people until the Babylonian exile (586 BC). The test includes a detailed historical, archeological, and paleogenetic background on these ancient people, including how they lived, their cultic practices and mysticism, how they treated others, and their deeds.
